Fashion books can be like buses: none come for ages, and then two come along at once. This season, fighting for a precious spot on the coffee table next to Christian Louboutin's new gilded tome is Jimmy Choo 'XV', a celebration of 15 years of all that is Choo.

Aptly, the book chronicles Jimmy Choo's success via 15 of its most iconic shoe designs. Fashion editorials photographed by Mario Testino and Terry Richardson sit alongside paparazzi images of celebrities who have helped elevate the brand to become a household name synonymous with glamour, wealth and sex appeal.

Sketches and behind-the-scenes pictures also serve to take the reader on the journey of a 'Choo', while the book's eight chapters touch on the power of the stiletto and use of animal prints, to recounting memorable occasions, such as Hollywood starlets Keira Knightley and Hilary Swank gracing the red carpet wearing Jimmy Choos.

Those who can't wait until next February, when the £60 book will be distributed via booksellers worldwide, should make a date with their local Jimmy Choo store on October 26 to catch the early release.
