Karl Lagerfeld illustrated today's entire issue of French newspaper Liberation, as part of his one-day guest editorship. His illustrations include a self-portrait for the cover of today's edition, which is 14 by 22 inches — twice as large as it usually is. The picture Karl created to go with a story on the scandalized French soccer team comes with the sassy phrase, "In the long run, soccer empties the head."
