Diane Kruger is the new face of Calvin Klein's new scent "Beauty" photographed by Craig McDean.
The label's creative director Francisco Costaexplained the concept during a dinner held at the flagship store on Madison Avenue:
"Certainly sex is in our DNA, but this fragrance speaks to a different audience [than scents like Obsession and Euphoria.] It is very much the spirit of Collection — elegant, sophisticated, timeless and beautiful — and designed to appeal to a more mature customer. This is a woman in her 40s, who is self-assured and secure."
Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American Fragrances at Coty adds:
"It’s very elegant, and that’s why we wanted to work with Diane. This woman we’re trying to portray — she’s not someone who doesn’t have experiences in her life. We wanted this woman to be worldly and well-traveled, a confident woman and a woman who had strength."
Gisele was interviewed by Brazilian TV show Fantástico last night to promote her new contract with lingerie label Hope, and to show the world how insanely hot she looks even though she just had a baby.
Expect to see Gisele back on the runways in Brazil next month. She has confirmed that she will be walking for Colcci this season at São Paulo Fashion Week.
Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel cruise show, always a lavish affair for which all kinds of press and pretty people are flown in, walks tomorrow in St. Tropez. Karl likes to introduce these things with short films. He's done a silent film inspired by works of that era and a movie based on sixties China, but this season he's going with something less stuffy called Remember Now, in which people dance and party in little lacy things. Karl and his actors have really let their hair down for this one! The best part of the preview comes after 30 seconds, when we see Karl's favorite boy wonder, Baptiste Giabiconi, dancing on a banquette, shirtless, with a bunch of models.
