Supermodel Helena Christensen has bared all for Reebok's new EasyTone trainers - and admitted she's a fan of the trainers' technology out of laziness!
"With my busy schedule it's a perfect way to do something without spending hours in the gym," the Vogue cover girl explained. "I'm impatient, when I try something I like to see results immediately. I could feel these working right away which is why I've stuck with them."
"Living in New York, I like to walk everywhere, so to have trainers that tone your legs and butt as you walk is fantastic," she explained. "You can really feel them working and I've noticed a difference in just a few weeks. They are comfortable to walk in, it almost feels like you are walking on sand, but by the end of the day you can feel it in your legs almost like you have done a workout."
The trainers, designed by an ex-NASA engineer, promise to tone your legs and bum as you walk - although the 41-year-old supermodel may have a genetic advantage over the rest of us.
Karl Lagerfeld will be in New York City on September 10, the same day as Fashion's Night Out, to receive an award. The Couture Council of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology will honor the designer with the Fashion Visionary Award at a benefit luncheon. Valerie Steele, director of the Museum at F.I.T., said the panel of judges chose him because “he is not just incredibly respected within the fashion world, but also known to everybody and instantly recognizable.” The award ceremony is during the day, which means his evening plans have yet to be determined. Hopefully, Anna Wintour can lure him to go out and promote New York Fashion Week. If not to the public fashion show, or Macy's in Queens, then at least to one of the two Chanel stores or the Fendi shop in town.
