Tia Cibani believes that this new line embodies both subtlety and elegance. Japan was a key influence in the prints and in the tailoring of the dresses. Ritsuko Hirai collaborated to create these garments, which have a natural flow that infuses the silks with color.
Amy Winehouse is launching a fashion line in collaboration with British brand Fred Perry. Preppy gingham prints in a palette of pink and black, pencil skirts, girly twinsets, and polo shirts with popped collars make up Winehouse's 17-piece collection. According to a Fred Perry spokesperson, Winehouse attended all of three design meetings "where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, color and styling details."
The lineup will be in stores this October and the collection will continue over four seasons and will be sold in Fred Perry Authentic boutiques and select wholesalers.
