LOVELOCKS- Padlocks of the Pont des Artes PARIS
Parisians have an interesting Valentine's day tradition that I find delightful. Usually after taking a romantic stroll through Paris, they will go to the Pont des Arts to attach a strong padlock engraved with both of their names. Then they throw the key into the Seine, and leave the lock behind as a symbol of the strength of their everlasting love. C'est romantique, no?
