Louis Vuitton have prepared a collection of small accessories in tribute to Renée, Gaston Louis Vuitton's wife, who loved wooden toys.

A hundred years ago Renée used to collect the small wooden toys manufactured by the Vuitton family. In the fifties, Gaston paid tribute to his wife's hobby by dedicating a whole floor of the Avenue Marceau store to her toy collection.

Now, in tribute to this lovely story, here's Animania: a collection of small accessories inspired by the wooden animal-shaped toys from the LV collection.

The line features multicolored animal-shaped purses and scarves, all with the brand monogram.

The Animal Coin Purses retail for $500.00 and are available online at louisvuitton.com with some designs already sold out.  The Bird Clutch above is $340.00.

Tsumori Chisato is a Japanese fashion designer that did a holiday makeup collection with Shu Uemura last year.  Wanting to know about her, I did some research and found this impressive resume of her work.
